This is a loaded question, and after the better part of a decade, I have to say Yes! Active traffic exchanges are very effective because they are the easiest way to advertise your site on a budget and check out some of the best opportunities on the web. Some traffic exchanges are more targeted than others of course, but the key is activity! Manual traffic exchanges offer the best quality because each member has to either view your site in order for theirs to rotate and get views, or they can purchase credits. Once you find a traffic exchange that converts really well for you, gets interested people signing up or clicking through your site, it’s a good idea to upgrade.
Free vs. Upgraded:
Upgrading unlocks benefits not available to free members, including higher affiliate commissions for referrals, increased surf ratios, and a host of other benefits depending on the traffic exchange.
